3. Counter-Notification

4. Our Response Process

What happens when we receive a DMCA notice:

  1. We will review the notice for completeness and validity
  2. If the notice is valid, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
  3. We will notify the user who uploaded the content
  4. The user may file a counter-notification if they believe the removal was in error
  5. If a counter-notification is filed, we may restore the content after 10-14 business days unless we receive notice that a lawsuit has been filed

5. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers. A user may be considered a repeat infringer if:

  • They have received multiple valid DMCA notices
  • They have been found to have infringed copyrights in a court of law
  • They have engaged in other conduct that indicates a pattern of copyright infringement
